When the previously called "Imobuyer" startup got in touch with Matilha Estúdio, their dev-based product team had assembled a functional, but barely usable MVP.
Through an end-to-end renaming, rebranding, redesign and frontend coding process we've turned a maze of features into a functional, usable, useful and ready-to-launch product.
Through an ingenious web-crawling mechanism, Mapi's team was able to gather info from every property for sale or rent in a given city.
Even though realtors' context of use demanded a proper mobile experience, Mapi's dev team was web-focused with no mobile developer and no plans to hiring in the short term. Therefore, an easy-to-maintain and even easier-to-use PWA was built, turning this massive data pool into a scalable product for Mapi and a valuable tool for realtors.
In addition to the average values shown in the search results, realtors can also see all the information related to the property: from photos and characteristics to nearby points of interest, neighborhood statistics and how does the property compares to the other search results. An information-depth that is useful not only for finding properties for buyers customers but also for evaluating sellers’ properties.
Data without context is just noise. One of the main goals of the project was to properly organize the vast database into meaningful, insightful information. On that line, two particularly commercially-appealing features were included: a search-summary PDF generator for realtors, and a comparison feature, where a real estate agency can analyze its property catalogue in contrast with other agencies.
